Yes, as an intern for the Project Laut Conservation Divemaster Internship, you will have a high amount of hands-on experience with coral restoration. Everything from the initial preparation and deployment of the empty structures, to the collection and attachment of coral fragments to the structures. You will also be involved with maintenance & monitoring activities, such as taking transects, invasive species removal, and other general upkeep activities. We generally perform coral-based activities 3 days a week.
Yes, you can complete your SSI Instructor Training Course with Project Laut in Bali. We offer several packages, from basic instructor training courses to extended eco-instructor internships. These internships allow candidates to shadow Project Laut’s instructors after their ITC, gaining hands-on experience. Additionally, you’ll receive Specialty Instructor ratings in five ecology specialties: Shark Ecology, Manta Ecology, Sea Turtle Ecology, Coral Ecology, and Marine Ecology.
